A trip to Jotunheimen

Hello!

From 26.08.14 to 29.08.14 i was on a trip to Jotunheimen with my class, it was very fun and I learned a lot :)
On tuesday the 26th we met up at School before we took the bus to Lillehammer were we had the first long stop that day, the next stop was in hell - Yeah you read right, we were in hell! but not the hell you think of when you think of hell, it is not like hell in religious stories or in Supernatural, this hell is big potholes called hell. On wednesday we went for rafting in the river Sjoa and we went into an ice tunnel. I think this was the best day because I really did enjoy the rafting. I was a little nervous before we got into the water, but as soon as we were in the river it was just fun - it was fun even when I fell into the water! - the ice tunnel is actually handmade and when you get inside it is many passageways I walked in and saw arrows and textiles from 3000 - 4000 years back - it was very intresting. - so this was a marvellous day :) This day we slept at Bøverdalen hostel.

 

On thursday went we up to Galdhøpiggen, which is Norways tallest mountain, it is  2469m (8,100ft) above sea Level. It was a nice, but steep trip.

 

Friday was a drivingday, we drove all the day, with only two stops, one long in Fagernes and one short in Hønefoss, and then we were home around 16:30.
